Darrell Green Action Shot

Hilaron was born from a diverse group of men with unique backgrounds and experience in both the corporate and non-profit sectors coming together with a common goal to simply be a blessing by moving financial resources to those individuals and organizations with a strong potential for social and community influence needing financial resources. The people groups and organizations that the Hilaron Foundation currently provides resources to are as follows:

Good Samaritan Foundation

The mission of The Good Samaritan Foundation (GSF) is based on the strong commitment of its founders to "Prepare Youth for Leadership in the Community and the Workplace." This mission is achieved through the Student Training Opportunity Program (STOP), which provides youth with the environment needed to equip them with the skills, training and resources necessary to compete successfully in society.

Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation

The Youth Life Foundation’s mission is to help children develop into leaders who positively influence their families and communities.

We achieve our mission through the Darrell Green Learning Centers by providing services that nurture the child, strengthen the family, and rebuild the community.>/p>

Generations

Hilaron has a specific burden to provide resources to emerging generations. The scope of this burden extends from orphans to college students and athletes. Some of the efforts to date include the following.

Scholarship Funds

Hilaron provides scholarship funds to outstanding college students and young leaders across the United States as funds allow. Each year, a scholarship committee awards full and partial scholarships to those applicants who the committee deems most deserving and with the most potential for developing into leaders of influence.

Nations

Through collaborative relationships, Hilaron helps to provide support for a number of generational efforts in Africa. Some of those projects include:

Grace Children’s Centre, Kenya

Grace Children’s Home in Nairobi, Kenya was founded in 1995. Today orphans are raised and nurtured in a beautiful compound outside the city, while even more children are being served in project extensions.

Baby Haven, South Africa

The Baby Haven project in Johannesburg was started in 1991 to care for abandoned babies. To date, 15 children have been placed into adoptive families.

Child Haven, South Africa

Opened in the fall of 2007, Child Haven will accommodate up to 12 children, age 3-10. The mission of Child Haven is to provide a new start for children in need in Johannesburg’s West Rand, by providing a home, a loving environment, and the hands of Christ to serve, nurture, and bring wholeness to body and soul.
